Terms and conditions
The policies and procedures of 1849 Mountain Rentals are designed to ensure that we give both you and our owners the best service possible. Please read them carefully. If you have any questions, we will be happy to answer them-just call 800-421-1849 or locally 760-934-7525

All units are NO-SMOKING AND NO PETS ALLOWED please.

Service pets
1849 does have service pet friendly units available upon request for properly documented service pets. Service pets must be approved when the reservation is made. Emotional support animals are amazing, but we are not required to accept emotional support pets. Guests with pets on property that have not been approved by the front desk are subject to a $350 fee and possible eviction with no refund.

Our entire property is non-smoking of any substance. You must be at least 20 feet from all doorways to smoke.

Check in
Check in time is 4pm
Please see your welcome letter once booked to view the address of where you will be checking in. If after hours once again see your welcome letter for instructions on after hour’s key pick up procedures.

Check out
Check out time is 10am. (Unauthorized late departures are subject to a 1/2 day charge)
Responsibilities – Upon departure please close all windows, turn off all heaters and lights, take out all trash, then load and start the dishwasher. Failure to comply may result in added cleaning charges.

Payment Requirements
1849 Mountain Rentals accepts Visa, Amex, and Mastercard.
½ of entire stay is charged at time of booking with second ½ charged 30 days prior to arrival. Check payments will only be accepted outside 30 days prior to arrival. If stay is within 3o days the total balance is due with no refunds are changes allowed.
All guests must have valid credit card on file for incidentals, regardless of payment type.

Cancel policy
If it is necessary to cancel or change your reservation you must cancel 30 days prior to arrival to receive your deposit back minus 10%.

Cancel fee is 10% of 1/2 your entire stay.

The number of guests, including children, is limited to the sleeping capacity of each vacation rental property and is determined by bedroom quantity, furnishings and accommodation size. Exceptions may be made for infants/toddlers under the age of 4. Individuals less than 18 years of age are not permitted to rent. Guests under the age of 18 must have direct adult supervision at all times when on rental premises. Absolutely no unit will be rented to vacationing students under 18 who are not accompanied by a parent or guardian of age as mentioned above. Any reservations obtained under false pretense may be subject to loss of prepayment, rental payments, taxes and fees. Motor homes or campers are not permitted to hook up to utilities on any rental premises.

Guests may be asked to immediately vacate rental premises, without refunds or compensation, in the event of unnecessary and loud noise (nuisance or disturbance), breaking of 1849 Mountain Rental or condominium association rules or other illegal activities. Any reservation obtained under false pretense and not adhering to minimum age, occupancy limits, pet/smoking policy and supervision requirements are subject to immediate eviction without refund or compensation.

We reserve the right to substitute comparable accommodations without notice or liability should the reserved unit be out of order or not available for any reason. When comparable accommodations are not available, renter will have the option of selecting from available properties at the published rate or receiving a complete refund of the reservation prepayments. Under some circumstances, rates may also be subject to change, depending on the date your reservation was made.

Linens, Towels and supplies
Bed linens, blankets, pillows and towels are provided, along with dish soap, paper towels and bathroom tissue. Complimentary firewood is also included with your stay.
One maid service is offered for stays of 7 or more nights (winter only)

Every effort is made to maintain the accommodations in good repair. All repairs will be handled as quickly as possible. No refunds will be provided due to inoperable appliances, pools, hot tubs, elevators or any other common area amenities, infrastructure or equipment.

Snow removal
During heavy snowfall guest parked out in phase II may be asked to temporarily move their vehicles out to the street for snow removal of the parking lot. Please keep in mind there is no overnight parking on the street so you must return your vehicle to the parking lot.
Guests are responsible for the snow removal and digging out of their own vehicles during their stay, although 1849 will assist as staffing allows.
1849 Mountain Rentals is not a licensed chain installer.

Keys must be picked up and returned to 1849 Mountain Rentals. A $25 charge will be assessed for each key not returned to 1849 Mountain Rentals. The guest is liable for incurred expenses should it become necessary to contact a locksmith.

1849 Phase I (101-410): Guests are allotted 1 indoor parking spot, with outdoor overflow parking out at the Rec area. (See map upon arrival)
1849 Phase II (511-693): Guests have first come first serve OUTDOOR parking, out in front of their town home.
Sierra Megeve: 2 bedrooms = 1 covered parking spot with first come first serve limited overflow parking.
2 bedrooms = 2 parking spots 3 & 4 bedrooms = 3 parking spots
Snowbird: 1& 2 bedrooms = 1 assigned covered spot 3 & 4 bedrooms = 2 assigned covered spots

PLEASE NOTE: During the winter season Snowbird has little to no overflow parking depending on weather. Please only bring your allotted number of cars.

Vehicles without posted parking passes are subject to removal at owner’s expense.

Additional Information
All units are leased without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin or handicap. Taxes and fees are subject to change. We reserve the right to change unit assignments if the need arises. Please note that all 1849 Mountain Rental properties are individually owned and because vacation property owners often make changes, furnishings and decor may not be the same as pictured on the internet. We make every effort to ensure that all the information in this website is current and accurate. We cannot be held responsible for errors or changes made by owners in furnishings and equipment.
