Be sure to check the road conditions and weather reports before you begin your trip!

 


 DIRECTIONS TO COMPLEX

  • Exit Hwy 203 from Hwy 395. 
  • Turn West towards the town of Mammoth Lakes. 
  • Hwy 203 turns into Main Street. 
  • Continue on Main Street through all three stop lights.
  • The third light is Canyon.  Go past the Canyon light approx. 1/4 of a mile and turn Right on Lakeview Blvd.
  • ***You have now entered a residential area. Please be considerate of your local neighbors--observe the 25 mph speed limit.
  • Follow to top of short hill and turn Left.  This is still Lakeview Blvd. 
  • Go to the top of the hill and you will see the 1849 sign on the right hand side of the road. We are the last complex on this road, if you hit the mountain, you have gone too far.

The entrance to the lobby and front desk is located directly behind the large 1849 sign.  You can't miss us!  Please call if you are checking in after 9pm to make arrangements for a late check in. 800-421-1849

 


 

DIRECTIONS TO MAMMOTH LAKES

From Los Angeles

  • Take Hwy 405 north to Hwy 5 north to Hwy 14 north
  • Take Hwy 14 north  (to Mojave) to the Hwy 395
  • Take U.S. Hwy 395 north to Bishop
  • Continue north on U.S. 395 to Hwy 203
  • Take Hwy 203 west to Mammoth
  • Mammoth Mountain is about 323 miles from Los Angeles

From San Diego and Orange County

  • Take Interstate 15 north to Hwy 395 north to Hwy 203 ( Approx 375 miles)

From San Francisco & Sacramento

  • Take Interstate 80 to Hwy 50 to the Kingsbury Grade cutoff .  Take to Hwy 395 south to Hwy 203 ( Approx 320 miles) - If the Tioga pass is open (summer only), this may be a quicker route depending on your location.

From Reno, NV

  • Take Hwy 395 south to Hwy 203
